Ah, role playing games. Pencil and Paper, tabletop, dice games... etc.
I kind of want to know what games people like, and some info about them, kind of like this.
Werewolf : The Apocalypse - This is an older game, no longer in production by White Wolf, about the end of the world. It's pretty cool.
7th Sea - This game is a great game about being a hero, and it's all kinds of fun if you know what you're doing.
Shadowrun - Post apocalyptic fantasy? Is that even possible? Yes. The future is all but under total control of the mega corporations, and under their awe inspiring towers, deals are done in their shadows. These deals are things done so that there is no affiliation with the mega corporations. Your job is to survive, after all survive or die.

Roachia - Sci-Fi/Fantasy hybrid. Controversy covers the planet as to who was the actual creator of the world. (It's narrowed down to two though, which make up the major religeons) Ehlowel and Outrrragoues are their names. These two opposing groups often fight each other, as do the followers of fire (Magma Guards) and the followers of water (order of the eastern sky).. Though, currently, the goddess of Fire, Delajeth, is trapped outside of the Roachian universe and all but one Magma Guard lost their powers over fire and the goddess of water, Yaellka (a bisexual diety formerly the lover the fire goddess, Delajeth) has set off on a quest to rescue her and bring her back to Roachia... Which would defy The Administrator's (The Roachy Jay) rule on not leaving the universe of Roachia... And there's some other stuff, but that's one of the biggies.

Probably a nickname that someone just can't get rid of. Like mine at work... Benni K Rok.

Icepick's sort of right. It was a nickname that stuck to me... But now it's as much a part of me as my ears.

Warwelf... woo hoo! likin thropes er fuuuun... *CLANG*
Werewolf the Appocalypse is far better than the line of rectum excression they're spewing now.
I prefer Hunter to Werewolf. After those Mage and D&D are on par. I'm a fan of BESM, but I haven't played in a long time. I also like an older game called UN Special forces, but no one would ever play with me. Very obscure. I hate Vampire, and refuse to play it.
Also, My friend Jon runs his own system. lots of fun.
Finally, Anything goes style forum RP is so very very good. might not be table top, but damned if they aren't similar enough for me to mention.

I play d&d, munchkin on occasion and a multitude of ccgs, I'm an avid video gamer although I tend to get my favorite moments from retro games (I can beat Super Mario Brothers on my NES in 5 and a half minutes) I love board games, and I'm always up for some new game I haven't tried.
Current project - getting a party together to play d&d via Yahoo messenger and gametable software online - still need a dm now too, the one we had bailed. (Reason for yahoo messenger, all original players had it for voice chat, may switch to teamspeak if preferred)

What are the links to gametable software online?
If you want, we have some spare bandwidth on our teampseak server, and as an admin, I can make a perminant room. I know the owner of the server would love to get his hands on software like that, because he used to use the old TEN software, until it failed.

I've mostly played D&D (1st, 2nd & 3rd editions), some board game like variations, and Car Wars. Did anyone else here ever play Car Wars? It's set fifty years in the future and basically involves armored and armed cars fighting it out.

Well, after the review, aparrently D&D is the most complex game for the DM to run, because there is so much more that you need to know about it than most other games.

I haven't played most of the others, but I didn't think D&D was that hard to DM (Not that I was any good at it, mind you. I always either made things too easy or killed everybody off.)
