Well, there's a section that's been running a few years called Roleplaying Tips Weekly, and a large precentage of them are exclusively for D&D.

Gametable's still kind of basic, but it does the job till we find something better. here's a link - gametable.galactanet.com/ Those of us who have it already are using the beta client. I've been told it doesn't like to talk to tahe standard one very well.

I never found DMing D&D to be that hard. All you really need is to have read the rule books. You don't even need to have read the Monstrous Manual at all; you can just pull out creatures as you need them. On top of that, you don't even need to know ALL the rules, in any semblance of completion. Arbitration is a good thing, and can led to many a humerous situation.
Mind you, 3rd edition made this even easier, by simplifying and dumbing down everything. Personally, I don't MIND 3rd ed, but my favorite will always be AD&D.
Now, BESM (second edition, anyway). THERE'S a great RPG. The only problem is that, even though it's designed to let you do almost anything, it's designed to let you do almost anything in an anime setting. That's why I created UF (User Friendly) to take that a step further. With some heavy modifications, subtractions, and additions, I've made (I believe) a truly do anything game. But that isn't important.

Ah, paranoia, such a delightful game.
I've seen a DM force people to play the paranoia card game as a "reward" from the computer.

THE COMPUTER IS YOUR FRIEND
You play the role of a troubleshooter. Your mission is to assist the computer, who is in charge, in hunting down mutants, traitors, and members of secret socities. You are a muntant, who is a traitor, who is a member of a secret society.
Your job is to not get caught while you assist the computer. You have a level of security clearance based off of the ROYGBIV color code, although it does extend into ultra violet as well. Should you request or display knowledge of a security higher than your own, the computer will kill you. Your troubleshooting team ( the players ) are trying to uncover you so the computer can kill you. Sometimes the computer can create catch 22 situations where you can be killed by doing what it says ( such as eating bad food), or by disobeying the computer.

Oh, the only difference is that you live in a commune. You can't leave without the computer's permission.

Has anyone ever gone to Gaia? It's an RP forum most of the time. Mostly just a forum. With chibi-ish avis.

Ah, Gaia...
I'm really beginning to lose my interest in that site. I haven't gone into the RP forums for...a while, and with good reason. It seems that every other RP is the same old crap. "LIKANS VS. VAMPIRES" (Yes, I've seen them spell Lycans like that...) or "(INSERT DESIRED NUMBER HERE) HUMAN GIRLS TRAPPED WITH (INSERT DESIRED NUMBER AND KIND OF CREATURE HERE)!"
That isn't to say it's all like that, 'cause I have seen some pretty good stuff. I've even made a few of my own that I'd like to think were at least a little different from the common archetypes, but my opinion on that may be a little biased...
All I have to say on Gaia, to summerize things, is that it's been going steadily down-hill since I joined back in 2005.

Yeah, pretty much. My friends and I mostly just PM each other now because our RP forum kept digressing and we got bored.
