Well, I'm The Roachy Jay, a transgendered "MTF" teen.. I just stumbled across the "From Then On Forth" webcomic and fell in love with it, especially since I can relate to alot of it (i.e. "Are you gay? etc." Even my mother thinks I'm homosexual..). I also recently read a book called "She's Not There: A Life in Two Genders" by Jennifer Finney Boylan, who is a transexual English teacher at Colby University in... Maine? If I remember correctly. More about me? Well, I make fonts (as in Areial, Times New Roman, etc.) and I run an online roleplaying forum (also hosted on Proboards! . Both of these, as well as some other completely random things like the "Gangster Scrabble Gameplay Guide" can be found at my website -- www.theroachyjay.tk/I really look forward to becoming a member of this community, and I feel very privillaged to be here. Thank you.

I've not got much to say, great comic, nice people, I'm sure you'll fit in, and Colby is in Maine. That about covers all I have to say.
Again, welcome.

I don't hate them... Hate is such a harsh word... It's not their fault they're male.. It's just the way most guys around where I live act.. It totally disgusts me. And I have mentioned once on my blog that I don't consider the cool/nice guys male anyway. Just in my own odd little mind...

And I have mentioned once on my blog that I don't consider the cool/nice guys male anyway. Just in my own odd little mind... There used to be a form of feminist thought that said, "Guys are assholes, if we put women in their positions things will be better." Then women were put in those positions and they were assholes too. It was discovered that it was the position, be it manager or senator, and what was required to get there that made the people assholes, not the gender of the people. The same is true of anything, if girls 'round you were raised the way the boys are they'd be the ones you disliked and you wouldn't think of the good ones as female. - In a very real sense you are correct to not consider the cool/nice guys male because male is more than just a sex or even a gender, it's also a way people are raised and a way they are expected to act. If where you are most of the guys are unlikable then most likely where you are being unlikable to you is part of the non-gender non-sex part of what male is. The English language has more words than any other, and yet we still are lacking. There should be a word for the male sex, a word for the male gender, and a word for the expected male action and outlook. There should be parallels for female as well. - The world is a screwed up place, always remember it, take joy in it where you can, survive it where you can't, and try to change it if you see the need. - By the way, I'm male, and even if I weren't I think I'd take issue with your means of grouping. Not liking males when you only think of them as males if they behave in a way you dislike is one thing, and totally fine because whether or not they are part of the group you dislike is determined on an individual basis. But when you group it into, "disliking men" that takes things too far because it means that you judge individuals without any information about them as people. (Then again maybe the "disliking men" bit is a quote you picked up from someone else.) Just the way things are in my odd little mind. - Sorry 'bout the disjointed post.

I've never thought about it that way.. Makes sense, though. I've modified it accordingly.
