I'm thinking about buying new parts for my computer soon, my video card is fried, and my shuttle case can't seem to hold the stuff I need, so I need to get the computer rebuilt. New case, new motherboard, new CPU, and new graphics card. Even a few new enhancements like new gamepad and a wireless keyboard and mouse (not that mine are bad in fact they are really good, but wireless would make things easier on me). It will be a while to do it though, but thats ok. By the time I can get the money for the parts I need, parts that are WAY better will be out for the same price. Being that I'm a gamer, I tend to like having a lot of the top crap out so I can run a lot of the good games.

Well I got the keyboard and mouse and the case is ordered. I also have the motherboard and CPU getting shipped to the store I get them from, which will give me a pretty good deal (online price instead of retail). I also am having some fun with a humoring mod I just did. I just turned my gamepad into a mouse with this software called JoyMouse. I am going to format this computer though when I get all the parts I need. I need to format considering iit has more JUNK than I want really. I'll have to get loaded up on some modding software too. Desktop X 3 for example. I can then get a new desktop designed so that it doean't even feel like Windows anymore www.nzxt.com/NemesisElite.phpThis is the case I'm going to get. I know it's masculine, but I like it. I can't help but fall for style. I'm planning on getting the black model. Considering that it's really awesome looking. It's also aluminum, so it's VERY VERY fightweight. The motherboard I'm getting is a MSI K8N Neo4 motherboard. The CPU i'm getting is an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 939 pin. I will get a graphics card later, but I need to pull $500 to get that, so I don't think that will be an immediate investment.

I don't see that case as masculine... seems pretty androgenous to me. Either way, I think you should think twice before deviating too far from your native OS. I know a friend of mine was sick of windows, so he tried Linux. Ended up more pissed at the latter, and re-installing Windows.
At the very least, leave it open as an option.

Oh don't worry, it will still BE Windows. I have just a shell modifier, the thing with that is that I can disable it and change back to classic Windows anytime.
