What is your favorite game series and why? Also mention
My personal favorite is Castlevania, I don't know why but for some reason I love side scrolling platform genre. Castlevania has been a favorite of mine since it's birth. And now with it's very RPG style format (ie. Symphony of the Night), it's even better.
Of the series, Castlevania Symphony of the Night was my favorite, with Aria of Sorrow being a close second. I loved the story, I loved the action, the length, and the fact that even though you thought you beat the game there actually twice as much gameplay to get though due to the fact that you didn't get the TRUE ending. It was well done and very memorable to me.

Quest for Glory. really old series that was published by seirra in the early 90's I think, was about the same time as the king's quest series. Coolest thing was you could take your character from game to game.

The Suikoden series, especialy part2, I like the cute 2D pixel grafics,The battle system, big gallery of characters, the humour, a story that continues, but does not requires you to have played the previus ones, and in the same time does not spoil the prevuis ones. Good music and story too.

Either Suikoden or Dynasty Warriors/Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
I love strategy in RoTK, and just going postal in DW, but Suikoden has a superior game play I'm used to (due to years of Final Fantasy) and a Story that's easy to follow, but complex enough that you want/need to play each one at least three times.
Of coarse Suikoden 3 was a HUGE let down in comparison to 2, but that was like asking Chrono Cross to match and beat Chrono Trigger.

I'm working on Suikoden 3, the only thing that was a let down about it for me was the pairing with your parties, I didn't like how attack went to a pair instead of an individual.
I preferred Suikoden 1 and 2's battle system.
I never got into the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but then again I didn't understand it and I played an old NES version. I SHOULD give it another shot though.
I never played Dynasty Warriors, though I was wondering what it was, I thought about trying it a few times.

Give Dynasty Warriors a shot. It's a lot of fun, and involves strategy, but in an active stance as a general, rather than just directing troops, you lead them into battle, and get into the thick of it.
But if you don't keep the goals in mind, and keep aware of traps, you'll lead your forces to certain defeat. I'd reccomend starting with #4, as it's loads easier than 3, and should sell for about $20 now.

Just wanted to say that Suikoden 4 also kicks ass!^^ Just the "boat system" and the high encounter rate that is anoying.

I haven't tried Suikoden IV yet, but everyone else I meet that played it says it was the worst one they've played.

I still insist three was worse, but I will have to hold out... I've not finished four yet, but there is very little they could do to suck this up that bad that fast...

When I say speak wierd I did not mean 1337, cuse that was way out fo my ..err...the word, leuge..something.. What I meant is if I re-read the whole MT without a break and then began to write here I would be so filled with Largo-ness that I would forgett that this was an English forum and begin to babble in Swedish about how great MT are, how great Largo are etc etc.
But I don't think I would do that, so rest assured:P
